Visit of the KFW officials (German Cooperation) to Tiko municipality to inspect and monitored the Mutengene water project that was executed by Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso III on Friday February 14, 2025.
The team visited the Catchment number 2 at Dibanda mile 14, Buea, some public taps and the Baptist Hospital in mutengene to see how beneficial is the project to the population.
Before visiting the sites, the KFW team had a working session at the Tiko Council Mayor’s chamber in the presence of Feicom Officials who lobbied for the funding of the water project, Tiko Council Mayor and his Deputies, Secretary General, Municipal Treasurer, chief of Mutengene, Tiko Council Technical Service team and Communication team.

The KFW (German Cooperation) who funded the Mutengene water project through Feicom, officials were very satisfied as to what has been done by Tiko Council especially with the way the precious liquid is flowing in mutengene and the happiness of the beneficiaries.
It should be noted that the mutengene water project which execution started in 2020, was officially inaugurated on June 4, 2024 by Cameroon’s minister of Decentralization and Local Development HE Georges Elanga Obam in the presence of the German Ambassador to Cameroon, Feicom Director General, South West Governor HE Bernard okalia Bilai, Tiko Council Mayor HRH Dr Peter Ikome Mesoso and a cross section of Mutengene Population.
